1. Who we are

CoreLov is a location-based dating service operated by Corecompanionship, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. You can contact us at info@corecompanionship.ca.

2. Information we collect

Account: your email address (used for passwordless sign-in).
Profile: name, date of birth (to confirm you are 18+), gender, interests, bio and the country/area you choose for matching.
Age confirmation: the date, time and IP address at which you confirmed you are of legal age, kept as a compliance record.
Activity: likes, matches, messages, reports and standing, used to run the service and keep it safe.
Payments: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep a record of what you purchased.
Technical: IP address and basic device/browser information for security and abuse prevention.

3. How we use it

To create and run your account, show you potential matches near the area you choose, enable messaging, process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our community rules, meet legal obligations (including age eligibility), and improve the service.

4. Location

CoreLov matches by country/area that you select, we show approximate distance bands, never your exact location, to other users.

5. Sharing

We share limited data with service providers who help us operate (for example Stripe for payments and our email provider for sign-in links). We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect users' safety.

Our support and moderation team may access and update your account information, and review reported conversations, in order to provide support, keep CoreLov safe, and enforce our rules. These actions are limited to what is needed and are recorded internally.

6. Your choices & rights

You can edit or delete your profile at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated data. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or erase your data, contact us to exercise them.

7. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, passwordless login, rate limiting, automated abuse detection and other safeguards to protect your information. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

8. Minors

CoreLov is strictly for adults 18 and over (or the age of majority where you live). We do not knowingly allow minors. If you believe a minor is using CoreLov, contact us immediately and we will remove the account.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
